Q. How to create a deal for VirtueMart Deal Of The Day Module?
A. Please follow below steps to create a deal

For VirtueMart 2

  1. Please login to your admin panel. Then go to Component -> VirtueMart -> Products. From here chose your product that you want to create deal for, and go to EDIT PRODUCT ->Custom Fields and chose DEAL END DATE. Please refer this screenshot

  2. After selecting your chosen deal end date, please go to module. And select from all available product which has DEAL END DATE defined.

  3. It will look like this in the front end, where you chose to position your module on selected pages.


For VirtueMart 1


  1. Please login to your admin panel. Then go to Component -> VirtueMart -> Add Products Discount. From here chose your discount and the DEAL END DATE. Please refer this screenshot

  2. After creating your discount, please go to List Products and select a product on which you wish to give a deal. From here select the deal discount you have created. Please refer this screenshot.

  3. After selecting your chosen deal end date, please go to module. And select from all available product which has DEAL END DATE defined.

  4. It will look like this in the front end, where you chose to position your module on selected pages.

Hi,

Just got this, installed it on J2.5 and VM 2, looks nice very simple to install.
:)

How to change language? front end is in dutch.
And where to edit so i can leave out the day's counter?
